The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of free communication abstracts which can be presented in either of the following formats:

The deadline for the submission is 15th June 2023.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ORAL AND POSTER ABSTRACTS

Abstracts are to be submitted in English and should be no longer than 300 words.

The format of the abstracts should have the following headings: Title, Researchers (principal investigator’s name must be underlined), Institution, Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. This format is exempted in the abstracts for case reports.

Submission of abstracts must be accompanied by the registration and the payment of fees for the main Congress. Refund of registration fees, in accordance to the cancellation policy of the Congress, can be made only if the abstracts have been rejected by the Scientific Committee and a refund is sought.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

All participants accepted for the Oral Presentations will be required to prepare a pre-recorded 10-minute video, which will need to be submitted to speaker.psm@gmail.com by 15th July 2023. This video will be uploaded to a video-on-demand site accessible on the Congress website. Throughout the main Congress session, a Question-and-Answer chat facility will be available to Congress delegates to ask questions and for you to answer during the day. These videos can also be viewed for 3 months post-after the Congress.

The short-listed pre-recorded videos for the Best Oral Presentation in each category, will be shown LIVE at the allocated time as shown in the Congress programme. A maximum time of 3 minutes will be allocated for the judges to question the candidates at the end of each presentation. The relevant candidate needs to be present online during the allocated time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
  • Presentation in the Poster Session will be numbered as listed in the programme.
  • Posters should be developed using the following guidelines:
    • Layout: Portrait (vertical orientation)
    • Dimensions: Minimum recommended size (format W x H) is 1125 x 2000px and maximum is 2250 x 4000px.
    • Format: 9:16
    • Minimum font size: 12pt
    • The poster must be converted to PDF format before upload.
    • An example of an poster template is available to download here.

  • The top of the poster must have a label indicating its title and author(s).
  • The illustrations included should be clear for web viewing. The total poster file size should not exceed 5MB.
  • All poster file submissions should be done through the submitter’s account on the Congress website by 15th July 2023. Click here to submit your e-poster.
  • Short-listed Candidates for the Best Poster Presentation will need to be available at the LIVE chat with the selected panel of judges for a pre-arranged Question and Answer session. Your posters can be viewed by all registered delegates for 3 months after the congress.
